MULTIPLE JOB VACANCIES
ADRA India is going to implement an eleven (11) month project titled, “MIZOFAM”. The project is supported by the European Commission - Directorate General for Humanitarian Aid (ECHO). The project will be implemented in two districts (Mamit & Lunglei) in the state of Mizoram.
Applications are invited for the below mentioned posts. The appointments are on contract basis for a period of 11 months. The appointments start immediately.
Job Title: Project Manager (One post) Reports to: Program & Planning Director Location: Mizoram Contract Period: 11 months
Qualification: Master Degree in Management, Social work, development studies or any other relevant discipline
Experience: Minimum 5-6 years of experience in the area of food security management, project management, disaster management etc. Professionals with strong management skills & working experience with ECHO, EC or International agency will be preferred. Fluency in Mizo language both oral & written.
Job Title: District Coordinator (Two posts) Reports to: Project Manager Location: Mizoram Contract Period: 11 months
Qualification: Master Degree in Management, Social work, development studies or any other relevant discipline
Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in the area of food security management, project management, disaster management etc. Professionals with strong coordination & logistics skills will be required. Strong Problem solving skills. Fluency in Mizo language both oral & written.
Job Title: Technical Specialist-Agriculture (One post) Reports to: Project Manager Location: Mizoram Contract Period: 11 months
Qualification: Master Degree in Agricultural sciences or any Agriculture related discipline.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in the areas of agro-product management, food supply chain management & procurement. Strong training & facilitation skills. Understanding/knowledge of local agriculture scenario is highly desirable. Fluency in Mizo language both oral & written.
Job Title: M & E Officer (One post) Reports to: Project Manager Location: Mizoram Contract Period: 11 months
Qualification: Master degree in Social Sciences, social work, Rural Management, Development or other related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience, out of which at-least 2 years of experience in the area of Monitoring & Evaluation management would have advantage. Excellent written & oral communication is highly desirable. Documentation skills are a must. Fluency in Mizo language both oral & written.
Job Title: Accounts Officer (One post) Reports to: Project Manager Location: Mizoram Contract Period: 11 months
Qualification: BBA/B.COM/M.Com/PG (Finance)
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 yrs of experience. Understanding of the local laws on Income tax, VAT, TDS, FCRA, & other applicable local laws will be added advantage. Experience with ECHO will be given first preference. Fluency in Mizo language both oral & written.
Job Title: Admin Assistant (One post) Reports to: Project Manager Location: Mizoram Contract Period: 11 months
Qualification: BBA/B.COM
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 Yrs of experience in handling Admin function in the NGO sector/private setting. Fluency in Mizo language both oral & written.
Job Title: Field Implementation Officer (Nine post) Reports to: District Coordinators Location: Mizoram Contract Period: 11 months
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline
Experience: Minimum at least 2 years of experience in any area. Preference will be given to candidate with NGO experience. Experience in food security/agriculture will be an advantage. Fluency in Mizo language both oral & written.

JOB VACANCY Job Title: Accounts Officer Reports to: Finance Director Location: Gurgaon, Haryana Contract Period: 11 months with renewal based on performance
Purpose:
To work as part of the ADRA India Finance & Accounting Team and be able to provide & manage complete Project Finance & Accounting requirements independently and report to the Finance Director based in Gurgaon.
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to comply strictly to ADRA India Financial Policies and Donor guidelines Responsible for setting up project Accounting books, internal control, journalizing & posting of vouchers, prepare bank reconciliation & pay roll on monthly basis including generating financial report/statement etc. Providing support to the Project In-charge in consultation with the Finance Director in financial issues and maintain proper financial records. Contributing to the general operational support to the Project Manager. Carrying out other office duties and assisting with other tasks within the team, as might be required from time to time. Qualifications & Experience:
Advanced university degree in Accounting/Finance. At least three years of progressively responsible experience in an NGO. Strong Accounting & Finance domain knowledge. Candidates having working experience with USAID Projects will be an added advantage Understanding of local tax laws, FCRA regulation is strongly desired. Fluency in English.
