source of income through training
and support.
Activities: Formation and
strengthening of self help groups,
training of women in embroidery,
distribution of insecticide treated
nets and sanitary napkins and
conducting health education
sessions.
Expected Outcomes: Trained women in
embroidery work are producing and
selling their products in the market
and practicing the habit of microcredit. Improved health care
knowledge among the women and less
cases of STI infections and malaria
reported as compared to the
baseline. |
